Magda Wieclawska was born in Poland, she has been living in the Netherlands since 1986.
Her paintings show a great variety in technique and themes.
“I am convinced that each subject demands a different approach and technique, that is why I do not attempt to develop an uniform style. The most important is the affinity with the subject.’
“Just like other fellow-artists I get through different creative periods: from the challenge of pure realism I jump into an impressionistic style and still later I might choose to work with expressionistic and abstract approach. The driving force are the challenge and the passion.’
“I write poems which I consider an integral part of my paintings."
Magda Wieclawska exhibits her work regularly, she gives workshops and painting classes. She is a member and a founder of the artistic group Kunstzin Diemen.
